September's visiting teaching message can be found at this link. I particularly liked the quote from President Kimball: ". . .what glorious consequences can flow. . .from small but deliberate deeds!"
Small, seemingly insignificant events comprise the daily ebb and flow of life, but taken in total, shape our characters. We have a great opportunity to support each other through simple acts of kindness. I thought about the growth of seeds, and decided to make a handout using a seed packet template. I put the quote from President Kimball on the front, "planting instructions" on the back, and inside the packet, I put paper strips listing examples of small deeds of service.
I think I've figured out (with help from John) how to share the file with you. Click here to be taken to the pdf file, which you should be able to print. A few snips of the scissors and a bit of glue, and your seed packet should be ready.
Thanks for those who have offered a smile or kind word when it was most needed or least expected.

The paper strips will be placed completely inside the packet. |
