February's visiting teaching message talks about how visiting teachers have an opportunity to develop friendships with the sisters they visit, and how friendship can be a real strength to all.
I decided to make little friendship baskets to give to the sisters I visit.
I found the cute little Valentine graphic over at The Graphics Fairy, and then just added in the text:
I printed the image, then decoupaged it onto a little bucket. At Walmart, I found a magnetic paper pad which had a space for a photo. Instead of a photo, I placed a wallet-size card which listed the visiting teachers' names and contact information, and the church meeting schedule for the year. I added a pencil and chocolates in the bucket, and tied a ribbon on the handle.
Thanks for friendship, and the friends we make through visiting teaching.
