As I mentioned previously, last week I spent the weekend watching General Conference. All of the conference talks can be found here.
I've been trying to review the addresses and have been highlighting particular phrases that stand out to me. Next week I hope to have several quotes from conference prepared in a handout form, but in the meantime, I thought I'd share this statement from Bruce D. Porter's "Beautiful Mornings" talk:
Thanks for calm assurance.

I've been trying to review the addresses and have been highlighting particular phrases that stand out to me. Next week I hope to have several quotes from conference prepared in a handout form, but in the meantime, I thought I'd share this statement from Bruce D. Porter's "Beautiful Mornings" talk:
"Trials may come, and we may not understand everything that happens to us or around us. But if we humbly, quietly trust in the Lord, He will give us strength and guidance in every challenge we face. When our only desire is to please Him, we will be blessed with a deep inner peace."I've observed others who, despite extremely trying times, radiate calmness. That kind of peace comes only through our Savior. He will support us in our trials.
Thanks for calm assurance.
