I have noticed something interesting about the #LightTheWorld campaign: as I have decided to participate in daily acts of service, I have had opportunities to serve practically fall in my lap. Has something like that ever happened to you?
Today's #LightTheWorld topic is: Jesus Healed the Sick, and So Can You. There are many ways we can help those who are sick, from donating blood to bringing in meals. Before I could decide what I would do for this challenge, though, I had a friend ask me if I would come sit with her for a while as she recovered from a surgery. Of course, I said yes. All of a sudden I realized that the Lord is helping me find ways to participate in the #LightTheWorld service opportunities.
Service can fit into our lives, even in this busy time of year, and as we demonstrate our willingness to help others, the Lord will help us find ways to serve.
